When in Doubt, Opt Them Out. Upcoming TCPA Changes and How to Adapt
Beginning April 11th 2025, the FCC’s new revocation rules will take effect. These rules will require text senders to recognize more ways for consumers to opt-out of SMS programs. Meaning ‘STOP’ prompts will no longer cut it, and when a consumer opts-out of any outreach, all programs or campaigns will need to come to a halt within 10 days or less.
To ensure compliance and regulatory adherence, health organizations must adapt their SMS outreach strategy to include Natural Language Understanding (NLU) and conversational AI capabilities that comb through and analyze consumer intent. Using AI to decipher if a consumer meant to opt-out of one type of message vs all further communications will become critical to your digital outreach strategy.
Join mPulse’s Brendan McClure, Kyle Blanchard, and SriVani Ganti, to discuss upcoming changes and innovative ways to leverage technology to adapt to these upcoming change.
